I'm Edumicated!!

So the long adventure of studying and stressing is over! Thanks to eveyone for coming, I really appreciate it. For those of you unable to make it, here are some pictures from the day.

I Am Done!

I walked out of my last final yesterday. Sure I got my ass kicked by both of them for the day, but it felt great to be done. Not sure what it is going to be like without going to school... I have been going to school for 7 out of the last 8 years. And will graduate with about 300 credits. Sure will be weird to not worry about homework, midterms, reports, finals...

Now to go play some golf.

Google Albums

You all know how much I love Google web applications. Well they jsut added something that could eventually be really cool. Most photo hosting websites are a real pain in the ass to use. Flickr, Kodak, Snapfish, etc....

I have tried a few and have not liked any of them! Most sucked because it was hard for other people, or just myself, to look at my photos. Well Google has launched Google Albums and I am waiting anxiously to get access! Sign up too if you love Google, cause my guess is that it will be the best.

Google Earth Update

Well if you haven't noticed, now you know. There has been a major update to the satellite imagery for Google Earth! Australia has had a huge update, so has South America and the Gulf area. Also here in the States. Kelso/Longview now has high-resolution, before it was extremely grainy now you can look at the land slide...

A Few Things

I walked out of my LAST class on Thursday, man did it ever feel good. Now all I have is a presentation on Monday, and if we do well could win the Portland State University's Outstanding Capstone Award. So you know, no pressure.

I then have a final on Wednesday in Strength of Materials, followed immediately with a Nike demo day at Hood River GC. Then on Thursday, I have my Private and Public Investment final at 10am and my Semiconductor final at 12pm.

Anyways after that I am all done!

More PSU Pics

1 more week of school, then finals. I am so very excited! But it is going to be a jammed packed week. I have a few reports to do, some huge assignments are due, and then there is always studying for the exams... Plus throw in work and I am going to be constantly busy for the next two weeks!

The best thing about going to PSU, is the great walk through the Park Blocks to get there...

If you haven't heard, my Senior Project (Capstone) team is up for an award. We have been nominated for Outstanding Capstone Award. We don't really know anything about the award. We just know that we are the only ones in the ECE Capstone projects that have to record our presentation... I think this means that it is not department wide, but maybe its for the whole engineering school or maybe all of PSU. This will be awesome if we win. It will be great to put on our resumes.

PSU Memories...

I was thinking that two weeks from now, when I am finally done here at PSU, that I will not have any pictures to remind me of PSU. Granted I am not that proud of my "last-chance" school, but I did spend a lot of time here. So the last few weeks of school I will be carrying the camera with me and taking pictures of things that I really liked about PSU and my time here.

First off are two great places to sit and read or eat lunch. The first one is from the rooftop of the Urban Studies Center, and the second one is the fountain across the street from Keller Auditorium.
