Eagle Crest - Day 5

After my demo day on Sunday and Karen left to go home, I headed back out to the golf course to play another round. The Ridge Course out here is just beautiful! Here is a pano-shot from the tee of the 12th hole. From this tee box you can see three mountains, they are spaced too far apart to get them into a good photo though.

I then went back to my room and packed up, Monday is going to be a long day. I have to be out on the range from 8am till 4pm to support the practice rounds for the Oregon Open.

After checking out I got to the range and got all my stuff set up. I then sat down and waited for some action, and waited, and waited... It was the hottest day of the weekend so in the morning only a few public groups played. And then the professionals started to arrive around 10am, but they didn't need to demo anything they are all sponsored by someone. A few of the Nike guys asked for help with some of their equipment, to make sure they had the correct thing. But mainly I just sat there, we were a title sponsor so that is why I am here.

So I hit quite a few balls and got all of my work done, thank god I brought my laptop! I got all packed up around 4pm and started to head home. The drive was so hot, and since the car was so loaded, everytime I turned on the A/C it would seriously bog down. So I just had to cruise with the windows down. The drive back sure seemed longer than the drive there, even though it turned out to be about a half-hour shorter...
